Overview

Our small group snorkeling tours are locally owned and operated, making you feel like a part of our Maui ohana! Since 1982 we have offered snorkeling trips on our quick and safe rafting vessels to the island of Lanai where we find secret coves, sea cliffs, tropical reef, marine life and dolphins! This trip includes whale watching during whale migration months (December-April). Every ticket supports active marine research and our efforts as part of the whale entanglement response team here on Maui!

This tour was amazing. I was on a trip to Hawaii with my grandpa and we chose this spot because it worked best with our schedule for that day on this island. When we got there they were setting up and getting us checked in. They fitted everyone for gear in good time without any issues. They even had prescription goggles! I’d never even heard of them and I wear glasses so this is perfect. They had 3 different prescriptions. The equipment was high quality and clean. My impression was that we were only going to Lanai, but we ended up snorkeling in lanai, another spot on the Maui coast, and then we went to a third spot and saw a ton of spinner dolphins! We got right up close (as much as is legal and safe) and the dolphins swam right next to the boat. The two gals that lead our tour that day were kind, energetic, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. If anyone had a question, they knew the answer. And if they didn’t, they’d find an answer for you! They served fresh fruit, banana bread (with an amazing passion fruit spread), chips, and drinks throughout the tour. The tour was even a little longer than planned which was fine for us because we were having a blast. TAKE THIS TOUR! You won’t regret it!

This trip was fantastic! In addition to snorkeling in Lanai we saw a whale shark (completely harmless, beautiful and BIG!) on our way back to Maui. Our wonderful skipper stopped the boat and we were able to get in the water and swim with this amazing animal. It was an experience of a lifetime. We then went to a cove where we swam with giant turtles and while we were there we saw a pod of at least 100 dolphins. Of course, our adventure was unique but honestly, this tour, the staff and the boat were all exceptional!

My wife and I had a great experience with captain Amy and Hannah on this trip. We are beginner snorkelers and were comfortable throughout. We saw multiple turtles up close while snorkeling and drove next to a beautiful school of dolphins to end the trip. There were also multiple instances of both Amy and Hannah going the extra mile for their passengers (including helping a sea sick individual and helping me with some dolphin footage). I highly recommend this crew!
