Watch the beautiful lights of Kona from our spacious 50’ catamaran, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays at night! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, hot cocoa and cookies included.

Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Minimum drinking age is 21 years
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Children under the age of 5 are NOT allowed in the water and must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the boat

We offer validated parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $10 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.

We had an epic experience. Saw at least 12 manta rays. The crew did an excellent job. They were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. My wife and I have both said we would do it again and will recommend it to friends and family.

I really can't say enough about how amazing both our experience and the staff were! We went out with Kona Style three times, once for coral reef snorkeling during the day and twice to see the manta rays at night (9pm trip). As others have said, the crew made the snorkeling experience easy--and I'm writing as someone who doesn't love swimming or water. You always feel safe and the crew are always nearby and available to help, so there's never cause for worry (plus, you have a pool noodle with you, so you're not doing too much work and never have to worry about staying afloat). The mantas came super close to us (several of them)! By super close, I mean they were swimming just under us--not even a foot away!!!-- as they did they did their special roll in the water to feed (see photos). They are just such beautiful and graceful creatures. We also saw a dolphin, which was pretty neat too. Now, I want to give a shout out for the consideration and generosity of Kona Style. They are super people! Our first Manta Ray outing was disappointing, as we didn't see any, which was highly unusual. SO KONA STYLE INVITED US BACK A SECOND TIME! This was so thoughtful and the second time we had the most amazing experience seeing the mantas up close. Truly, it was one of the most spectacular sites that we've ever seen. Our daughter (12) was so excited, especially after the disappointing first outing, and will remember this experience for a long time. She had been reluctant to get back in the water again, but was she ever glad that she did! Thank you Kona Style! So spectacular and a family memory that we will never forget.
