Watch the beautiful lights of Kona from our spacious 50’ catamaran, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays at night! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, hot cocoa and cookies included.

Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Minimum drinking age is 21 years
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Children under the age of 5 are NOT allowed in the water and must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the boat

We offer validated parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $10 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.

We are a family of 11 with ages ranging from 18 Mos to 63 years. We all went on this trip. 1st of all the company was willing to work with our adult children so that they could trade off to care for their 18 mo. old baby. Captain Tanner was welcoming while informing the snorkelers of the process. The crew was efficient and hospitable. Although, I did not have one - I heard the Mai tais were awesome! The crew Dan,Koa, and two others, I would not want to misname them, were attentive to the needs of each of the snorkelers. They handed out wetsuit tops and all the gear. They prepared the floating boards as well as guided the snorkelers off the boat. They made sure we were safe and ready for a incredible experience. They offered information about the anatomy and habits of the Manta Rays as we snorkelled. I have saved the best for last! As soon as I placed my masked face in the water, I saw 2 mantas! Wow it was awesome. Oh but it gets better - the Mantas came right up to my face. I watched in awe as they would swim up with open mouthes to feed on the plankton circling over and over! I thought they were going to touch me. It was an incredible experience! And I am one of the 63 year olds! The hot cocoa and cookies on the trip back topped off the evening.

Fantastic to see huge mantas and bottle nose dolphins! This was easily the highlight of our trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and our 20-something daughter went on the Late Night Snorkel. We’d seen mantas feeding from shore before (#Eat@Huggos ;-). But never up close in the water. We were treated to not one… not two… not three… But Four!!! Rising up and rolling and feeding within inches of our masks at the same time!!! Now that was apparently a rare show. But as they say “Half of life is signing up & showing up.” It was an incredible night which we will never forget. Cat’n Scott and the crew and the entire operation were top-notch & very professional (said this old sailor :-). I would highly recommend this excursion .

Thank you, Michael! We're glad that everyone had an incredible experience snorkeling with the manta rays! Four manta rays up close is an incredible showing! We do everything we can to position our guests to see at least a couple as closely as possible! We count our blessings every single evening that we get to snorkel with the wild mantas up-close, but statistically speaking, we have pretty great odds! Mahalo for leaving us a great review!
