Watch the beautiful lights of Kona from our spacious 50’ catamaran, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays at night! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, hot cocoa and cookies included.

Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Minimum drinking age is 21 years
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Children under the age of 5 are NOT allowed in the water and must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the boat
Guests are asked to check-in at our retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75-5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
We offer validated parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $10 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.

This was amazing! We saw so many mantas and they came so close to us! The crew (Capt. Tanner, Dan, Dustin, and Bart) was very friendly and helpful!

Kona style is the only Hawaiian owned boat tour so it’s awesome to support them. My friends and I did 2 tours with Kona Style, one snorkel day tour and one night Manta Ray snorkel. They were both awesome experiences. The crew with Kona Style is professional and instills comfort and confidence in their skills and knowledge, but they’re also super fun. The night manta ray snorkel was the trip of a lifetime. Definitely a bucket list item. I can’t recommend them enough! Doug was a tour guide on both tours. We affectionately called him Dougie Fresh. He was awesome. Told great historical stories, prepared you for what you’d experience and catered to individual needs. They provide drinks etc on the tours as well. While the manta rays are obviously wild animals and you can’t predict the “show,” Dougie Fresh rated ours a 2.6/4 and it still blew my mind. The manta rays come within inches of you. Incredibly spiritual experience. I loved it. A+ to Kona Style. They’re the best! You won’t regret any tour with them!
