Watch the beautiful lights of Kona from our spacious 50’ catamaran, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays at night! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, hot cocoa and cookies included.

Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children must be accompanied by an adult

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Children under the age of 5 are NOT allowed in the water and must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the boat

We offer validated parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $10 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.

We went on the late night tour where we saw manta rays and bioluminescent plankton. Kona style had a great setup and provided all the gear we needed. We would highly recommend their services for couples, groups or families.

You’re going to be cold: deal with it because it is SO worth it. We got amazing manta footage with our GoPro. We sailed with Captain Tanner- he was chill and the crew was amazing! So kind and organized. You can tell they do this allllll the time. You never know what you’re going to get with the mantas but we got to see them most of the night! Really cool. There were also some high maintenance people on our tour and I noticed the crew handled them with grace and patience! Which was impressive because I would not have. HA. Anyway- five stars. Organized, amazing boat and gear. This is a great time, you won’t regret it. Once in a life time, don’t waste your time trying to find a better company. You get hot chocolate or tea when you’re done to warm up. Amazing experience! Thank you, Kona Style!

There's a TON to appreciate about this review! We provide adventures over 360 days per year and the crew handles every one with the class and excitement that our guests deserve! We try to mitigate that with the wetsuit top, but a rash guard underneath can definitely help while in the water. A sweater will help on the ride back! WOW!! Incredible experience with incredible people! I cannot say enough good things about KonaStyle. We weren’t sure if we were going to make it to Hawaii in time for our late night snorkel adventure (due to COVID test delays). The team responded via email very quickly and we created a backup plan for another night. However, it all worked out and we went on the original trip. They were so accommodating, a perfect model of true aloha. The late night snorkel was an unbelievable experience that I highly recommend! Everything from the crew to the safety considerations, the music, and the actual encounter with the mantas was amazing! My kids are 11, 12 and LOVED it. My oldest is like a fish so he had no problem floating with us and enjoying the beautiful sea life. My youngest was hesitant so she watched from the boat and got to see the mantas from above. The boat ride was smooth, safe, and the music put us in a dancing mood. The crew spent 1:1 time talking with my kids, trading stories, and teaching them all kinds of things.
