Watch the beautiful lights of Kona from our spacious 50’ catamaran, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays at night! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, hot cocoa and cookies included.

Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Minimum drinking age is 21 years
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Children under the age of 5 are NOT allowed in the water and must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the boat
Guests are asked to check-in at our retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75-5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
We offer validated parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $10 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.

What a wonderful outing. So much fun. Tim AKA Dave swam out with us and narrated our whole adventure. He was awesome. Our Captain AKA Dave insured all rules were followed and safety was paramount. Rachel AKA Dave (getting suspicious) was wonderful with the young children and hot chocolate was a winner. She also helped each of us out of the water with the rest of the crew all named Dave. The mana rays were the most awesome sight we have ever seen. I highly recommend this for all swimmers. What fun! Sighing off. Dave AKA Pam

I first booked with hawaii oceanic and they cancelled like 2 hours before by email! So I looked online and was very lucky there were still 2 places available here. At first i thought we weren’t going to see manta’s but then we saw 4! So happy we did it. Very nice and kind people and worth the money

Crew in the office was super friendly and helpful. The crew in the boat was extremely rude especially Rachel…Super disappointed with how we were talked to when asking questions. They also don’t supply you with proper equipment to stay warm.. if you own your own wetsuit bring it. They told us we didn’t need them and they all had one on. The boy next to me was convulsing from the cold. The tour is also way too big almost 40 people… they need more than two boards if they’re gonna have that many people. I’ve done this tour a few times there are better companies with better experiences overall. Also instead of sharing manta facts with us on the boat he shouted them over us while in the water. It took away from the experience overall. The boat crew was awful I’ve never been treated like that on a paid excursion.

This seems particularly out of character for any of our team members. We always strive to offer an experience that is the highlight of your visit to Hawaii, so this review was a genuine shock to receive as our crew regularly earns outstanding marks for their customer service, their hospitality, and the atmosphere they create onboard. We provide each guest with a wetsuit top ranging from XS to XXXL, and that usually does the trick at keeping our adult guests warm. Kids are offered spring suits depending on their size, which provides more coverage than a wetsuit top. We’re disheartened to hear that it felt a bit crowded onboard. We operate our tours below our allowable capacity to give guests a bit more space to spread out across our bow seating, splash nets, covered seating, and stern seating areas.
