Watch the beautiful lights of Kona from our spacious 50’ catamaran, followed by the adventure of a lifetime - snorkeling with the majestic manta rays at night! Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, hot cocoa and cookies included.

Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Minimum drinking age is 21 years
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Children under the age of 5 are NOT allowed in the water and must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the boat

We offer validated parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $10 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.

We had an amazing time on our late night snorkel trip (9pm). We have kids and we’re worried the late night trip might be intimidating, but it was amazing. Our youngest did the best of everyone. Tanner was a great Captain. He was very clear with Instructions and safety measures. Dan was so kind and helpful. He made sure everyone felt safe and helped with all of the small details in the water. Demi was great too. Very friendly, kind and helpful. The boat is beautiful, extremely well stocked and clean. This experience is not scary at all. It’s magical. The water is well lit and they have plenty of gear to make you feel completely safe. We saw multiple mantas and the time passed very quickly. My only suggestion would be to pre-empt any seasickness with a little bit of Dramamine, or other medication and bring a warm waterproof jacket. Thanks for the experience of a lifetime! Our entire family loved it! ✨ 🌊

This was the best experience of my life. Captain Tanner was great! He explained the process and set realistic expectation. Our resort had manta swimming but it definitely did not compare to going on the boat and swimming with the mantas! This is a MUST do adventure when on the big island!

This was our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We spotted around 6 manta rays that night. The waters were a bit choppy that made us a bit sea sick but other than that there were no other concerns. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

If you've never been then you'd never know, but some guests take a preventative motion sickness medication to help with rougher seas.
