Our state-of-the-art theater is located conveniently in the heart of the city at Broadway at the Beach – the Carolina coast’s premiere shopping, dining, and entertainment destination, so we are centrally located and easy to find!

We are locals and had a great coupon for this attraction so I dragged my husband out one night. (Popular music is not his theme in life.) We sat in a VIP booth which was great for us. Booths can seat up to 4 average-sized people, but the box office closes it off for one family or couple, so you do not get paired with someone you don't know. We were unsure if one of our adult sons might be joining us and the box office was most helpful in assuring us that he could be worked in even at the last minute if he joined us. (He didn't, but it was nice to know that he could.) We loved the show--even my husband (who didn't even know who Elton John was). I am a Blues Brothers addict and the 2 guys who played them were terrific!! I was really impressed with the person who played Michael Jackson--looked, sounded, and danced just like him! Aretha Franklin had a tremendous voice. The only one I really didn't care for was Elvis--but then I am not exactly an Elvis impersonator connoisseur. This is not a large theatre, so you are quite close to the performers. You can have your picture made with some of them as you enter the theatre and you can get a chance to meet them after the performance. Parking is very convenient and basic refreshments and drinks are available, but I would recommend having an early dinner over at Broadway at the Beach, which we did before the show because it was a Monday night and not crowded. (During peak tourist season, that would NOT be a good idea!) We both thoroughly enjoyed our evening (even my husband) and plan to return when the schedule changes to other performers that I like.

The location of the Legends theater near Broadway on the Beach made it easy to enter and parking was plentiful. The theater itself is a smaller intimate setting with few (if any ) poor seats. Our group experienced a royalty of rock and roll show of sorts with performers showcasing the talents/songs of Sir Elton John, King of Pop-Michael Jackson, the Blues Brothers, Queen of Soul -Aretha Franklin and the King of Rock and Roll- Elvis. The sound system was good and the performers put on quite a believable event. Each entertainer engaged the audience which added to the illusion of the personality they portrayed. Wine, beer and margaritas are available as well as numerous soft drink offerings and snacks, popcorn including candy. There is a gift shop for those that wish to take a piece of the event home with them to relive the fun night. The performers will meet with the audience after the show for photos and visitation. A great distraction for those that wish to see a gathering entertainers for a great musical experience.
