Run the helm as you learn to sail. Hoist the spinnaker for downwind sailing. Swim off the aft if the wind dies.

My husband and I had an amazing time with Captain Bill! We were one of three couples on board. The Captain allowed each of us to be as hands-on as we wanted. He had great stories and knowledge of the area as we sailed. Plus we were visited by a pod of dolphins playing around the boat! Phenomenal experience and would definitely do it again.

My family had a wonderful time sailing the York River with Capt. Bill. My daughter really enjoyed steering the boat. Capt. Bill provided great history about the area and showed us wonderful sights. I highly recommend sailing with Capt. Bill if you are in the Yorktown area.

This sail was a wonderful experience for our family. We felt safe at all times and the boat was exceptionally clean. We loved hearing Captain Bill recount the details of the two battles that took place in Yorktown at the end of the American Revolutionary War. I personally liked the artwork displayed! This was fascinating! Also, Captain Bill let us take turns steering the ship and answering our questions about sailing. It was an awesome trip and we would highly recommend it to anyone. We will be back to visit again! Thanks for a great time on the water.
