My daughter and I signed up for a sailing lesson and really enjoyed our lovely afternoon on the York River. I did most of the steering (daughter wasn't feeling 100%) and got a real workout! Captain Bill did a great job helping us feel comfortable on the water, and we were able to learn quite a bit about sailing during our three hours. Be sure to go to the restaurant at the marina afterwards. It made the perfect ending to a nice afternoon.

This sail was the highlight of our two week trip to the east coast. Captain Bill was laid back and took the time to teach us about his boat and sailing. This was a true sailing excursion! Sure, a romantic cruise is nice, but this was sailing at its finest. We highly recommend this adventure if you want a real taste of sailing!
