What a terrific experience from start to finish! The initial communication upon booking from the captain was spot on. The day on the water was wonderful (even if there was a little less wind than we would like, he still gave us every opportunity to sail). We all had a chance to steer the boat, learn the lingo, swap stories and see the beautiful sites. The smaller size was an asset, and it was practically a private tour on this fall day (two couples and the captain). We highly recommend!

We took a charter with Captain Bill back in August. He was very friendly and professional, and seemed very knowledgeable on the water. The boat was very nice, and fit our family well. We had an enjoyable first hour on the York River, sailing up the river and taking in the sights. A squall popped up while we were on the water. It started small, but got a little heavier while we were out there. Unfortunately, we had to take in the sail and motor back to the harbor, completely drenched at the end. (Captain Bill had a cabin, towels and ponchos for us.) Still an enjoyable trip, and memorable for more reasons than we expected. Very fun and we would recommend.

Thanks Scott, especially mentioning towels and ponchos for the rain. Glad we got to sail another day when it was sunny.
