Bill’s understanding of the Yorktown battle was exceptional. And the “boat” ride was fun and engaging. Even with my daughter at the wheel. 😀

Captain Bill provided a fun and informative sailing experience! My husband loved his turn at the wheel and had a great time 'driving '. Captain Bill gave us a fun history lesson right on the water, and narrative on how Revolutionary War naval battles were fought and won. We also sailed past the building where British and American forces negotiated the terms of surrender. We learned that these negotiations could only take place in a building, but many buildings were damaged during the war and a suitable structure was difficult for the Generals to find. Cool facts! ...I'm very appreciative of Capt Bill and fellow passengers for being patient with my youngest, who was feeling a bit queasy on his first sailing experience...Captain Bill gave him wrist bands to help, and distracted him with stories. My kiddo eventually found his sea legs, and there were no 'accidents'. ;) We felt very safe on the water, even when things got exciting and choppy at times, LOL. Winds were feeling a little fiesty that day. Highly recommend for family experience AND a romantic adventure. Thanks, Captain Bill!
