What To Expect

The Roaming Table

Our expert tour guides will navigate your through the historic Village of Lewiston. On our three hour tour we will learn about the rich history of this quintessential small town. You will learn about Lewiston’s role on the Underground Railroad, the War of 1812 and even its ties to the Mafia! Lewiston is also known for its amazing restaurants. There are over 30 restaurants in a half mile radius! We will stop at “mom and pop” shops, waterfront eateries, chef owned restaurants, bustling coffee shops and much more. At each stop we will sample generous portions of food (along with drink pairings at 2 stops), enough for a filling lunch!

My husband and I were on vacation in Niagara Falls, ON and decided to drive over and experience this food tour. The entire tour was fantastic! I'm a picky eater and I loved every bit of food and drink that we had! We knew nothing about the town of Lewiston prior to the tour and so we were excited to learn about the history of the area. We both felt like we learned so much! My husband and I always try to do a food tour when on vacation in a new area and this one did not disappoint!

I took this tour the first week of September with another lady. From the moment we met our guide Rita, I knew we were in for a great afternoon. The tour was explained very well on the website so I knew what to expect. The different foods and drinks were very good and spaced out well between walking. I enjoyed learning the history of Lewiston from a lifetime resident. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes and bring a small backpack in case you need to take off or put on a jacket or sweater. I will definitely book this tour again and will recommend it to our visitors as well. It was such an enjoyable afternoon, thank you Rita!

My sister and I booked this tour for a little weekend away shopping and food tour! Great combination..Chris was our guide and he was friendly, knowledgeable and has passion and love for Lewiston. Such a great place to explore! The food was delicious and great balance of tastings! Craft beer added bonus! Highly recommend
