What To Expect

The Roaming Table

Our expert tour guides will navigate your through the historic Village of Lewiston. On our three hour tour we will learn about the rich history of this quintessential small town. You will learn about Lewiston’s role on the Underground Railroad, the War of 1812 and even its ties to the Mafia! Lewiston is also known for its amazing restaurants. There are over 30 restaurants in a half mile radius! We will stop at “mom and pop” shops, waterfront eateries, chef owned restaurants, bustling coffee shops and much more. At each stop we will sample generous portions of food (along with drink pairings at 2 stops), enough for a filling lunch!

I experienced a wonderful day with this food tour! The food from this tour and different restaurants were fantastic and would definitely return to each and every one again. The most interesting part, I would have to say, is the tour of historic Lewiston, which was guided by Rita Gieben. Rita really knows her town and it's historic events! Her friendly attitude and efficiency made sure to keep us on time for each stop on the tour. She made sure all of us were together before started speaking so no one missed out on any part of our tour. That's exactly how we felt, this was OUR tour. Thank you and see your tour later this summer. A real bang for your buck. We were all full!

This was a great experience! The food was fantastic as well as our tour guide who was incredibly knowledgeable of Lewiston and it’s histroy. I would highly recommend this tour to those considering.

Went on this tour with a group of friends. The food was great and the tour was interesting. A really nice way to get to know Lewiston a little bit.
