What To Expect

The Roaming Table

Our expert tour guides will navigate your through the historic Village of Lewiston. On our three hour tour we will learn about the rich history of this quintessential small town. You will learn about Lewiston’s role on the Underground Railroad, the War of 1812 and even its ties to the Mafia! Lewiston is also known for its amazing restaurants. There are over 30 restaurants in a half mile radius! We will stop at “mom and pop” shops, waterfront eateries, chef owned restaurants, bustling coffee shops and much more. At each stop we will sample generous portions of food (along with drink pairings at 2 stops), enough for a filling lunch!

This was a great way to discover and experience Lewiston. A tour full of food, drink and history. It has been many years since I have been in Lewiston and am glad I returned for this tour because I will not wait another 20 years to return. I was reminded of the rich history of Lewiston and had the chance to dine in some old stomping grounds (with new names, owners and look). Alicia and Chris were wonderful guides and you can really tell their love and appreciation for all things Lewiston! I left the tour with that appreciation too!

This was my first trip to Lewiston and first food tour, so I didn't know quite what to expect. Everything was great from start to finish, including the logistics of the meeting place, timing at all of the stops and the quality of the food and drink. Chris and Alicia are excellent guides and you can really tell that they enjoy what they're doing and sharing their community with others. Along with all of the great eats, we learned a lot about the area's history and current events. I would definitely recommend doing this tour if you are in the area.

Lewiston is a quaint town with a very interesting past. This tour combined local history and culinary treats to make one of the best "things to do" in the area. I live in the western NY area and learned so much from our knowledgeable guides, My son and I enjoyed the food samplings and have been back to dine at one of the restaurants since. I highly recommend this tour whether you are a visitor or a local looking for something different to do.
