What To Expect

The Roaming Table

Our expert tour guides will navigate your through the historic Village of Lewiston. On our three hour tour we will learn about the rich history of this quintessential small town. You will learn about Lewiston’s role on the Underground Railroad, the War of 1812 and even its ties to the Mafia! Lewiston is also known for its amazing restaurants. There are over 30 restaurants in a half mile radius! We will stop at “mom and pop” shops, waterfront eateries, chef owned restaurants, bustling coffee shops and much more. At each stop we will sample generous portions of food (along with drink pairings at 2 stops), enough for a filling lunch!

Actually, the dynamics of the group made the tour ever so enjoyable. The guides were gracious, patient and informative. They promoted the establishments and the food being sampled. Furthermore, they provided some great suggestions for coming back on your own to enjoy all that Lewiston has to offer the discerning foodie! I also enjoy the interweaving of the local historical events and local lore about ghosts combined with our walking tour. An enjoyable afternoon to say the least!

Wonderful day in Lewiston discovering great food while learning the history of this neat town. Rita was a wonderful guide full of knowledge and love for her home town. It started to rain at the end of the tour and Rita’s husband brought us umbrellas and offered to take our husbands back to get the cars. I have been on several food tours and this was my favorite!
