I was hesitant about booking this excursion due to my fitness level and doing it by myself. I read the reviews beforehand and really couldn't find a bad one. I am so glad I did this. It was such a great experience. I knew the minute I got there from the front desk guys to our guide Eric that I was going to have a great time. I smiled the whole time and had so much fun. What a great way to see the city and get the inside scoop from Eric. He is so knowledgeable about the area and a nice fun guy. It was quite the trek so I am glad I got the E-bike and recommend to all to do the same. You still are working and pedaling and getting a workout but with all the hills in Beverly you will thank yourself later. My few complaints are the seat on the bike was not my friend. Ask for a cushioned seat or wear padded bike shorts. I was swollen for days after this. But I don't ride a bike often in all fairness. I didn't care for the lunch place we were given to order from. Too healthy for my taste. But the smoothies were great. And lastly the price is high. Worth the experience yes but I think for that amount lunch and/or the E-bike should be included and not extra. It is a long day so prepare yourself for it. But you will be having so much fun you may not even notice. And the refreshment they offer when you get back just puts the cherry on the cake. Haha. Great job Bikes and Hikes LA.

People there were really nice, nothing more to say about that :) I rented a hybrid bike, which was also working great from the shift to the brakes. Only negative thing, the homepage says that you get a helmet and map of los angeles and a few other things i I recall correctly. But the helmet was just provided after I asked and I got no map, but I forgot to ask about it. However, I got a description of where to go from the guy at the shop, and because the shop is located on santa moniva blvd it is really confortable to ride to the beach. All in all a good experience. I would recommend it. :)
