This is a pretty good food tour the tour guide was nice and easy-going. My husband and I have taken food tours all over so this is not new to us. The food was pretty good. We were warned in advance that there would be a photographer taking photos for the website so the tour guide knew some of the customers on the tour. One of his friends did not wash her hands after using the restroom and at the table where there was community tostadas repeatedly touched multiple tostadas not just hers. I realize this is not his fault I’m just hopeful that maybe somebody will learn some manners by reading this. People wash your hands and don’t touch other people‘s food. My other complaint is at one of the last stops we were served chicken and ceviche it was not rationed and some of the people were double dipping their fork INCLUDING The hired photographer! NOT COOL, And yes I’m talking to you Canada as well. I’ve never been on a food tour were people acted like savages and had no regard for others on the tour. Maybe it’s because they knew each other I’m not sure. Anyhow that left a bad taste in my mouth and I was unable to eat what should’ve been my portion. But on the upside it was my husband’s birthday and it was a beautiful day and I always have a great time with him.

We would like to thank you for sharing with us your experience on the Venice food tour. It is much appreciated. We are always looking to improve the tour experience for our guests. In light of your comments we have teamed with the owners of the restaurants to provide our guests with individual portions for everyone. It's a simple solution but a good one that I hope will eliminate any future guest concerns. We are also going to have a brief word at the beginning of the tour addressing proper hygiene. Again....it shouldn't be necessary but it is and it will make everyone's experience a better one. Otherwise I am glad that you enjoyed your tour and your husbands birthday. Thanks Again, Hope to see you on the Downtown LA tour.

I've lived in LA for 25 years and never knew or would've known about the places on the tour. In between food stops John told us historical facts about Venice and took us along the canals as well as the famous boardwalk where there is always so much to see and do. But most importantly all of the food stops were delicious. I highly recommend and good value for the price.

I picked the perfect day at Venice Beach to do the Secret Food Tour. John the guide was professional, relaxed and really informative. The history of Venice was interesting, never knew it was tied to Italy. Great day on the boardwalk to people watch. Food was incredible and the choice of restaurants was well thought out. I walked away extremely satisfied and felt it was an excellent use of my time and a great value.
