We live in the Los Angeles area (south bay), and were surprised to learn so much about the history of Venice beach from our wonderful guide, Mike. He shared information about the beginnings of the restaurants we stopped at, in addition to the history of Venice itself. At each restaurant stop we enjoyed plenty of food and chatting with the locals. Walking along the boardwalk was crowded, but worth it as the people watching was amazing. Thank you for a great day!

My wife and I experience the Secret Food Tour of Rome and when we discovered the company also has a tour in Los Angeles we decided to give it a try during our vacation to LA. We were disappointed. We schedule a private tour on Friday night. Our guide Michael provided an excellent history of Venice Beach, walked us through the cool and historic neighborhoods. We also wandered through the eclectic beach scene with the skateboarders and "bird" riders. The 6 food stops ranged from chips/salsa, burritios, wine, poke, chicken sausage, turkey sliders, tacos and vegan coconut banana cream pie. Needless to say, we were full, buzzed and completely satisfied. Another great experience by the Secret Food Tour Company!

Mallory is a terrific and fun guide. All of us had a fabulous time touring the canals and Venice Beach. Each food vendor served us their delicious food and some with wine/beer pairings. Great tour, great guide, great time!
