The canyon itself is beautiful. Our first tour guide was rude and hostile towards me, totally unprovoked. Then luckily we were switched to a different group. The second tour guide was great and took great pictures. The facility restrooms were locked, and we had to use portapotties that looked like they hadnā€™t been emptied in weeks. It was gross. And the hand sanitizer stations were empty. They are absolutely militant in their mask enforcement and one guide threatened a $5,000 fine if you get caught without a mask on. Very unpleasant.

Glad you enjoyed the canyon. Thank you for the feedback on the facilities. The Navajo Nation does require a mask, as they have had challenges on the reservation.

This was such a great experience. It is a must do, you wonā€™t regret it. Go with Kens Tours when youā€™re booking your tour. We had an AMAZING tour guide Rae. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and the kids loved talking to him too. He was nice enough to get us some amazing photos as well. He was the best! Tips: Bring cash. Your phone will take amazing photos so if you donā€™t want to carry a heavy camera, DONā€™T.
