What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Located a few miles from Upper Antelope, Lower Antelope Canyon, known as "spiral rock arches" by the Navajo, is great for those looking for a little hike and a photographer's dream. The lower canyon is in the shape of a "V" and shallower than the Upper Antelope. Lighting is better in the early hours and late morning. Please note: you must arrive no later than 1 hour prior to selected time.

Beautiful and Great Guide. However we did not get instructions on where to meet. I called the tour company and ask them to call me back and They did not.

This is a must see! Oliver was our tour guide and was incredible! He showed us the best way to take photos on our iPhones and was more than willing to take pictures for us. We would definitely go back and would use Dixie tours again. We will recommend to all of our friends! We originally were scheduled for Sunday morning but the canyon flooded. Dixie tours was able to get us a tour for later that day or the next day and was a very smooth process. Masks are required throughout the entire tour, even during photos and for good reason (your tour guide will explain)❤️ Be respectful! **Note- this is through Dixie tours and that is not clear anywhere when booking through TripAdvisor. We spent all morning trying to figure out what location we had booked a tour through, as there are a few different options to choose from. It is also significantly cheaper to book through Dixie tours directly so go to their site!
