Due to COVID, they are running at 50% capacity, which means that we get personalized tour from the tour guide. She took many photos for us and showed us how to creat beautiful photos. Forgot her name but she was patient and lovely. Make reservations and check in early. We were able to begin the tour 30min early in beautiful morning light! Also, they built an air conditioned lobby! Hopefully, indoor restrooms, next?

After climbing the very steep ladder down to the canyon floor it was like being in another world. Just beautiful. The colors, formations, the light upon the stone walls, breathtaking. Ty was a wonderful guide, so very helpful with explanations, picture taking and even electrolytes for my water when the heat got to me. I would do it again in a minute. My sister and I had a wonderful experience. I hurt my leg on the last stairway, and the staff and Ty was very helpful in getting me cleaned up and bandage applied. The staff in the office/cafeteria area was also very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this tour, bring lots of water and a cool cloth in case.

This is an amazing experience that every one should put on their bucket list. Our guide (Gerry) was so great! He was personable, friendly, and knew where to take the best photos. He even graciously took a bunch of photos for me. This was my favorite part of my trip to AZ!
