What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Located a few miles from Upper Antelope, Lower Antelope Canyon, known as "spiral rock arches" by the Navajo, is great for those looking for a little hike and a photographer's dream. The lower canyon is in the shape of a "V" and shallower than the Upper Antelope. Lighting is better in the early hours and late morning. Please note: you must arrive no later than 1 hour prior to selected time.

We were unable to make it due to weather closures from Tucson up North! We tried to schedule to a different day but Viator was not helpful with information. Antelope Canyon was nice, and although the 3rd party already paid them, they said they couldn’t do anything! Very frustrating! For a family of 6, we are truly disappointed especially when ADOT has road closures.
