Lower Antelope Canyon Tour Ticket

Overview
Lower Antelope Canyon is one the most exquisitely photographed attractions in the Page Lake Powell area. Many visitors prefer the Lower Antelope Canyon to the Upper because it is less crowded, has light throughout, is longer, and offers great variety. Visitors get the experience narrow slots an ladder access into some of the sandstone craved shoots an holes formed by the force of runoff into the Antelope Wash from the mesas above.

Tour Departure Point: Lower Antelope Canyon Indn Route 222 Page, AZ, 86040 Antelope Canyon Tours departs every 1/2 hour a quarter after and a quarter till the hour, the tour is a 1.5 hours waling tour and climbing down some ladders is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes for this 600 meter trip. Lower Antelope Canyon Tours has smaller group sizes and the guide stays with you during the entire tour, sharing information about the geology, history, and Navajo Traditional ways. The Lower Antelope Canyon tends to be less crowded than the Upper Antelope Canyon and is preferred by many because of its narrow canyon walls and ladders that take you to the levels that have been carved by flash floods from the upper mesas. The sandstone walls are exquisitely formed, and the Lower Antelope Canyon offers a longer canyon exploration.

The canyon was truly amazing! We arrived for our time early, so we joined a group that was already together. Therefore, we missed any briefing that was given about the tour. We loved the experience UNTIL our tour guide, Gabby, went completely ballistic on us. The entire group was up ahead and we were in the back. Traveling as a group of four, one person took a picture of us and we pulled our masks down. She came back and scolded us as though we were ten year olds. She said ALL FOUR of us either had to leave the canyon or turn the phones off as she watched us. She said we were together, therefore we ALL had to turn phones off. Maybe this was addressed before we joined the group and we missed it. A warning would have been nice and acceptable. We would not have made that mistake again, even though we watched others doing the same. She also used profanity at the end of the tour when she said, ā€œYou don’t want to piss mama off!ā€ The canyon was beautiful but she truly ruined our experience.
