The staff were fantastic. So well organized, trained and provided excellent training to myself and family of 8 total. They thought of EVERYTHING that we would need and more. I am making plans now to return next year.

Our group of 4 were all in our 60's. We are fit and in good health; however, our previous rafting experience was minimal. Safety was a big concern. We selected West Virginia Adventures because we felt they were experienced in providing the safest rafting experience. And they delivered. They were conscientious about covid-19 and limited our raft to the 4 of us. Our guide Croc kept us focused. His knowledge of rafting and of the river was key in guiding us successfully through 21 rapids ranging from class II to V. Owner Rob was also nearby in his kayak ready to assist should anyone fall out. We were thankful that did not happen. Rafting with WV Adventures was truly an adrenalin rush experience. I couldn't wait to tell our family, especially our grandsons, about our rafting accomplishment. Seeing the US newest National Park from the river was stunning too. Rafting is a team effort between the rafters and guide as well as other staff. Thank you to our bus driver Cory who safely maneuvered the narrow roads and to Kirby for sending us down the river with confidence. My only suggestion is the provided lunch include more fresh and local foods when possible.

It was a wonderful and exhilarating experience. I'm happy we chose W Va Adventures over other rafting businesses in the area. Kirby responded to my phone calls and patiently and fully answered my questions. W Va Adventures is unique in that they only have rafting trips and are able to focus on being the very best at what they do! The owner, Rob accompanied our group and served as a spotter in case some fell off the raft. Crock was our guide, and I cannot say enough positive things about him! He thoroughly explained what would be required of us on the trip and impressed upon us to follow his commands. Cory our bus driver was great too! I highly recommend this outfit to everyone.
