Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, or sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

What To Expect

Pigeon River

We have a big facility with picnic tables and a food truck, plenty of parking. We are located by the Pigeon river and there is a campground right next to us.

Smoky Mountain Outdoors Rafting

The River Outpost is where all customers check in to go down the river. Everyone needs to show up 45 minutes before there schedule time in order to check in.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Our white water rafting was absolutely awesome. Our guide Oaks made our first white water experience so fun!! We finished out at the gift shop with great T-shirt’s for the whole family. This Louisiana family will definitely be back!!! Thanks for creating such a great family fun time!!

My family and I had a great time on the lower rafting trip. All 6 of us could ride together and DJ made my kids feel safe, while allowing them independence to learn the ropes of rafting. We had nothing but smiles the whole trip. We would definitely recommend this adventure for families of all ages and can’t wait to do it again! Maybe doing the Uppers next time:)

We are return customers with Smokey Mountain Outdoor, we have had many wonderful rafting experiences, however this last trip was the best. We were lucky to have Eli as our guide, Eli was knowledgeable, Friendly, and just a lot of fun to raft with. At the cost of rafting being so reasonable, it's a full afternoon of fun. I would recommend Smokey Mountain Outdoor over all the other rafting companies in the area. They have fantastic equipment, great guides, and great overall value for your next family activity.
