Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, or sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

What To Expect

Pigeon River

We have a big facility with picnic tables and a food truck, plenty of parking. We are located by the Pigeon river and there is a campground right next to us.

Smoky Mountain Outdoors Rafting

The River Outpost is where all customers check in to go down the river. Everyone needs to show up 45 minutes before there schedule time in order to check in.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Our trip through the class 3 and 4 rapids was thrilling! We had a great guide and got terrific photos. There was a balance of calm floating and enjoying the georgeous scenery and more action on the white water! Great company , safety is a big priority and it's a great time!

I've been white water rafting in several states and this company was by far one of the best. Their prices are great and our guide (Tyler) was friendly and halarious! The kids were sad when it was over. We will definitely be back!!

We had so much fun on our rafting trip. The lower Pigeon River was perfect for our family. My 7 year old just thought it was amazing! And we had the best guide! Dean was great! Having him with us made it even more enjoyable. If you go make sure to ask for him!
