Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, or sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

What To Expect

Pigeon River

We have a big facility with picnic tables and a food truck, plenty of parking. We are located by the Pigeon river and there is a campground right next to us.

Smoky Mountain Outdoors Rafting

The River Outpost is where all customers check in to go down the river. Everyone needs to show up 45 minutes before there schedule time in order to check in.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

This is our second time using this company and they are great!!! Their guides are very friendly and well trained and they make the trip so much fun!!! We had a large group and our guides tried to keep our rafts close together. Our guide was Eliza and she was wonderful!!! Thank you Eliza and all the guides of smoky mountain outdoors for making our trip ( a first for many in our group) fun,safe, and very memorable!!!

We had a great time! Would highly recommend. This was our first time rafting and it was a great experience. Shawn wss our guide and he was great! Couldn't of asked for a better time. Sites were beautiful!!

Big Steve was great He was very knowledgeable. Lots of great facts and information. It was a relaxing ride, yet a fun ride. Great for small children as it’s not a difficult rapid. Easy to make reservations. Easy to check in. They were very organized and on time.
