The Lower Yough's guided/guide escorted tour travels 7.5 miles and travels through 22 class II- class IV rapids. Experience the unspoiled beauty of the Ohiopyle State Park's valleys and ridges. The guides will entertain, provide direction, and give assistance throughout your 5-hour day. Transportation will be provided back to the check in area.

White Water Adventures was the best choice we made for our Lower Yough rafting experience. Our guide Jeremy was made the day very memorable and safe. I would suggest that anyone rafting chose this company and get the guided escort for a better experience.

This was my first ever white water rafting experience. I did the Lower Yough along with 5 others; some were first timers and some had some experience. Due to the rising water level they put a guide in the raft with us (free of charge). Our guide Adam was excellent. We all felt very safe with him guiding us thru the class III-IV rapids. As we would approach, he would give us the strategy overview, then told us what to do in the midst. Everybody stayed in the raft thru the journey and we had a really good time. We had light rain through out the trip, but nobody cared; we were getting wet anyway. I highly recommend this tour! Also in the vicinity are waterfalls within a short walking distance and 3 Frank Lloyd Wright houses to tour. We plan to return next year and extend our visit to take in the surroundings.

I used to raft the lower Yough all the time in my high school years always enjoyed it. This year we had 16 family members ride the river as an outing event for a family reunion. White Water Adventurers did an outstanding job with our group. Even the several first timers in our group loved the knowledge and experience of our tour guides. Especially Zack! We are already planning a family outing for next year!
