The Lower Yough's guided/guide escorted tour travels 7.5 miles and travels through 22 class II- class IV rapids. Experience the unspoiled beauty of the Ohiopyle State Park's valleys and ridges. The guides will entertain, provide direction, and give assistance throughout your 5-hour day. Transportation will be provided back to the check in area.

My husband and I are always excited when we can find an activity to do with our 17, 18 and 21 year old "children". White Water Rafting down the Youghiogheny River ranks among the fun we've spent together. We are thrilled with our decision to go with this company, "White Water Adventurers". While the guides were entertaining, they were professional and certainly dictated and demonstrated, "safety first". While we are all great swimmers, but since only one of us has had any experience white water rafting, we decided to take the guided tour down the lower Yough. We had plenty of adventure with this route and after 4 hours on the river enjoying the environment and rafting, we were tired and glad we made it through. The only "downfall" was the waiting necessary to make sure all the rafts in our group made it through the rapids...but again, it was a beautiful day spent with family. We would definitely return and highly recommend it. Also, don't forget to purchase the photos they provide....we have had a lot of laughs looking at them!

The tour with our rafting guide Ethan was excellent! We had a lot of fun and felt safe with Ethan's guidance at all times. He gave clear instructions (even in German) at the right time, so the tour was a wonderful experience. The swim stop with “cliff jumping” was also great. An all-round well-organized evening adventure with the White Water Rafting team. Thank you and keep it up!
