The Manor House Evening package includes a signature four-course meal at Gaylords at Kilohana. Under the direction of Chef de Cuisine you'll delight in a unique menu featuring meats, fish and produce, including fruits and vegetables from Kilohana Plantation’s 60-acre orchard and agricultural park. Celebrate with a champagne toast and walk over to the adjacent pavilion to enjoy the show from the best seats in the house telling the story of ancient Hawaiian's epic sea voyage from Tahiti to Kauai. Enjoy a complimentary pre-show Mai Tai from your premier seat before the lights dim, signaling the start of the theatrical and fiery show.

Check-in at the main ticket booth upon arrival. You'll then be greeted with a lei and champagne toast.

Luau Kalamaku Kauai

Meet in the plantation house foyer and walk on the torchlit path to the luau pavilion and your reserved table.

The skies darken and the cast takes the stage to tell the amazing story of the epic voyage between Hawaii and Tahiti. Through these ancient voyagers’ laughter, fear, seduction, and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors, culminating with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.

The food served at Gaords was fantastic, maitais, appetizers, entrees and desert. The Luau dancers and singers were great.

I’ve attended many luaus across the Hawaiian islands, so I wasn’t interested in the regular luau buffet. Since I wanted to dine at Gaylord’s during my stay, this seemed like a good way to do both. I was seated for dinner promptly at 5pm and the meal began with a glass of champagne. Every course came quickly after I had finished the current one and one course even came early. Since I was dining solo, I finished my meal around 6pm and had about an hour to visit the different stores in the house and relax. Around 7pm, you’re escorted to the luau by torch bearers and then to your seat in front of the circular stage. There really wasn’t a bad seat in the house. The show is not your traditional one of the different islands, but the dancing was still great. The only downside to having the 4 course meal is that you don’t have much time to take advantage of the open bar over at the luau before it ends.
