The museum is in 2 parts but still small in size. It will not take long to tour even if you linger on the exhibits. If a Lucy fan, this is a must do. For casual fans, a good time filler but not sure if I would make a trip just for this museum. Paired with the Comedy Museum and it make a good day trip. The best part was the sets from the TV show. They were interesting and full of detail. The other items were good, just overall smaller than you would expect from their long careers.

This was a great museum. Full of the history of Lucy & Desi, both before & after their renowned TV show. A good mix of audio, visual, & written information. Learned lots of new facts & loved laughing at clips from both the I Love Lucy show & many of Lucy's movies. The staff could have been a little more friendly & helpful, but the museum is well maintained & easy to find.

A nice tribute to a comedy legend team. We got tickets through a special promotion at our hotel and got there first thing. The place is divided into an East and West Gallery and while everyone went to the West, we decided to go to the East. The East Gallery is about the "I Love Lucy Show" and contains numerous costumes, props, sets (like their apartment and the Hollywood Hotel room) and various equipment used to shoot the show. It is a step back in the past and a great tribute to the show and it's stars. They have a nice gift shop and a well placed and clean bathroom. Probably the best museum I have seen dedicated to a single show or movie. We then went to the West Gallery which focused more on Lucille and Desi themselves. They had items from both of there pasts, home movies, Desi's records, Lucille's dresses from various movies and specials and Lucy's Gold Mercedes. They were making some updates to the place but still nice when include the East Gallery. They have a brochure which also gives a map to see the local murals from the show and a map to find Lucy's birth home, her childhood home, her Memorial Park and where she is buried. A very nice and well laid out museum.
