We enjoyed hearing history of the Waco area & where everyone else was from. The ride was most enjoyable after it got cooler in the evening & traveling faster on way back. We are not sports fans & could not relate to much of promotion of Baylor U. We understand also that most tourism to Waco is credited to the Gaines, but were hoping to learn even more about other historical areas to visit. That all being said, the boat tour was probably most enjoyable part of our visit. Unless someone is a fan of Chip & Joanna, (which we are not) I would see no reason to visit Waco. Admissions to museums were exorbitant for what was there to see or experience. And traveling around the city was stressful due to all the construction.

The evening river cruise is the perfect way to end the day! Relaxing and informative, we learned a lot about the history and future plans for Waco. Our captain and first hand (Bobbie and Nathan) were fun and energetic and were the best hosts. We took our 80 yr old mom and she loved it as well.

We loved Stan And Will on the River Cruise. We also took the classic Waco Tour with Liz and Drake and they were equally as fun! Great tour guides, full of Waco history tidbits, corny jokes and remarkable name remembering abilities! It was also really great that they took pictures of everyone, so we all weren't doing the selfie thing! Truly fun and relaxing tours - definitely a MUST if you've never been to Waco, Texas!
