Waco is a giving city. We heard of caring community projects while on the Waco classic tour. Today we hear many more interesting historical tales highlighting the importance of the Brazos River during the westward movement. We enjoyed stories about the dangerous cattle drive crossings through the Brazos River. Captain Stan had just returned from a mission trip. Lauren is involved in ministry at Baylor. We are most fortunate to have her as our tour guide again. She was with us for our Classic Tour. Stan gave us two good floats. From the prayer for our safety to the departing words it was a beautiful way to start our stay in Waco. The fun music helped us to become comfortable with others on the cruise and I believe a good time was had by all. Our guides Tim and Bobby were very hospitable and fun and of course we loved our surprise treat.

We really enjoyed the history and stories that we heard. Lots of fun and very friendly crew. The Dr. Pepper floats were a great treat to finish up the history of how Dr. Pepper was founded.
