Ok, I am not a boat person or a water person, I can't even swim so why I got the idea to go on a sunset cruise I'll never know. It was beautiful, just not for me. Thought I'd have a heart attack the whole time. I did feel good that the guide(who was awesome) said he was a 20 year veteran or like that of the Coast Guard. The lady running this is super sweet. The boat is fine just smaller than I expected. If you want to see the Bridge from under for a long time, many times back and forth than this is for you, I highly recommend it, I was just SO happy to get my feet back on land. haha

I was planning my first trip to Mackinaw city when I came across the sunset cruise. I am originally from Michigan & had never been to Mackinaw so my boyfriend (who has been there multiple times) & I planned a trip. The day of the cruise was so cloudy & gloomy all day, but when we got out on the lake it totally cleared up and it was incredibly beautiful. This was one of the best experiences of my life. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The price is so reasonable for the amazing view you get ($24 per adult). The family that runs the business is so friendly & there was someone on the boat telling us all sorts of history & info about the bridge and the boat (Ugly Anne). I can’t wait to come back next year & do the sunset cruise all over again!!

We've been on the Sunset tour twice; the second time being a few days ago. The captain's mom runs the ticket booth and she is one of the nicest ladies you'll ever meet! Such a sweetheart! She would bend over backward to make you more comfortable or help you in any way. Can't give her high enough praise! This time around the captain had a family issue, so his dad and another fella did the tour. His dad is just as awesome as his mom! Very entertaining first mate. The tour is fun and the views are awesome, but the fact that this is such a family-oriented enterprise just adds an extra layer of comfort and charm.
