I love history, I love entrepreneurs and I love Brooklyn. Dom has done a marvelous job of combining all of my passions in one tour! It was fun, educational and I was able to meet with local entrepreneurs working hard on their craft. I took the DUMBO tour. All the tours are different and ours ran past the 2 hours and probably closer to 3. It was a small group and the weather was gorgeous so I was lucky. Dom has a passion for showing the best of Brooklyn and that made for a very fun and enthusiastic journey. The DUMBO tour is in a condensed area so there was not a lot of walking. But since it's on the water you should always take a light jacket. I'm planning on signing up for the Red Hook and Williamsburg tours as well. I live here and this is a great way to learn the history and support local entrepreneurs.

On Saturday, I took Made In Brooklyn Tour's first outing in Bensonhurst. Not only did I learn about the neighborhood where John Travolta walked in Saturday Night Fever, but I ate some of the most delicious Italian food I ever tasted. When the tour ended, I felt like I got a real authentic tour of Bensonhurst from a person who not only lives in the neighborhood but grew up there.

His enthusiasm is unparalleled and he showed us corners of DUMBO that were a surprise to even this resident of the area. He introduced us to local artists and artisans and based on that afternoon of fun-filled facts I really can't wait to do another tour with MADE IN BROOKLYN TOURS.
