Magic Island Honolulu Stand Up Paddling

Overview

Join us for a morning paddle with Hawaiian sea turtles! This beginner class is perfect for anyone interested in trying standup paddling (SUP) for the first time, or experienced paddlers who want to learn more. We paddle in the beautiful blue waters of Ala Moana beach park and look for turtles along the way!

Many guests like to pair this experience with our SUP yoga class following at 9am.

Kelsey was an amazingly patient instructor. Our group of 5 had only one person that had ever been on a paddle board. She had everyone that wanted to up and paddling in no time at all. The location was perfect for first time paddlers. It was amazing to see sea turtles while standing on the board and paddling.

If you have never paddleboarded before, this is a great intro. Julie was an amazing instructor and made sure everyone was comfortable the entire time. This is run in small groups at magic island which has very calm water. At that time of day you catch the sunrise which is a beautiful time to be paddleboarding. Not too hot and amazing views of Waikiki. Bonus that we saw a turtle while paddleboarding which is apparently not uncommon. Photos taken were done for free which is a rare and lovely perk! Thank you Julie! Yoga paddleboarding is also offered for the more experienced or adventurous. You will fall in love with paddleboarding and want to go but your own after this!

What a fun and exciting experience. Cuttin (not sure if I am spelling her name correctly, sorry). was such a delight! My sister and I had a very memorable experience learning the SUP… The turtles were a bonus in the lovely lagoon.
