I was expecting to see more history related to the place. I felt lost in the gardens since direction were not clear. By the time we arrived all the tours were booked or the waiting time would be more than 2 hours and with the heat it was not the best place to be.... plenty of thing to do in the area i would skip this

Thank you for your feedback. There seems to be some confusion though. Our Magnolia Plantation tour includes a guided garden walk with our tour guide and we book the tram tour through the Audubon Swamp Garden and the House Tour for our guests. The latter two tours include a guide from Magnolia Planation and these are all booked for Adventure Sightseeing in advance. There is some free time left for guests to visit the cafe or roam the grounds and gardens on their own, but their should never be a time where guests aren't able to take pre-reserved tours.

The bus driver was very annoying. She tried to be funny, but I wasn't ammused. She talked about a whole lot of nothing, she never shut up. The Plantation tour was good and enjoyable and had plently of time to spend on the plantation.

We drove ourselves there but I couldn't just find the plantation without the transportation here on TripAdvisor so posting this review here. This is a 500 acre ex-plantation in South Carolina. The grounds are absolutley beautiful and chalk full of history. We were there for about 7 hours and still didn't see everything!!!!!!!!! They have a "snack bar" that actually has pretty good food, too. I would love to go back and I recommend this to everyone!!!!
