Joan, one of the office staff at Magnolia Plantation, took the time to personally return my lost cell phone holder that contained a lot of cash. Our tour bus driver (Derrick?) was also wonderful. When the Plantation overbooked the tram, he arranged for a house tour with another group. He waited for us to finish the house tour so he could direct me to Joan to retrieve my lost item. He also took the time to check the bus schedule to get myself and my 85 year old Mom back to the CHS Airport. I felt he went above and beyond the call of duty for a tour guide.

This is a beautiful Plantation with a very interesting history. We were first given some Charleston history as we drove to the site and then the story of the Magnolia Planation and the Drayton family. BT provided the walking tour of the gardens before leading us to the tram ride around the property (or the nature tour). Driver was very knowledgeable. We were then scheduled for the house tour but still were given time to grab a snack or visit the beautiful conservatory with many different orchids, etc. The woman who works at Magnolia (Millie) was excellent. A passionate speaker always make you interested. She provided a great deal of information about the Pastor Drayton and his family. Very well done - Interesting and a beautiful site (those peacocks were very active.)

From Clinton Maryland Folks: Valerie was our driver and tour guide on both events; very pleasant and informative. She's accommodating, entertainingly funny and genuinely knowledgeable about the tours all-the-way. We would highly recommend her expertise and assistance with our touring/visiting families and friends. We're very thankful and blessed we had her in our tour; priceless!
