Magnolia Plantation has always been on our list to visit. Booking a tour with Adventure Sightseeing was well worth the cost. It's always more relaxing to have someone else navigate to a destination. The bus was comfortable and our guide, Lisa, was friendly and very knowledgeable. She gives a bit of information on the road but also is the lead guide initially at the Plantation. Then we were off to the Nature Trail on a tram with a guide. Also very informative. The best was saved for last! Millie took us on our tour of the house. She was a delight! As a former teacher, she used a variety of techniques to hold our attention. We can highly recommend this company and our guide, Lisa. One could tell that individuals who visited on their own did not have the in-depth experience that we did. Also, the concession stand was excellent. The vegetable she crab soup was delish and huge!! P.S. I found our group to be very poor tippers! These guides work hard for your benefit and you should recognize them for that!

We have been on many Plantation properties. As with all; this one has some interesting points of interest and some pretty views. Overall an average to slightly above average experience. If you have run out of things to do in the Charleston area; it is worth a go.

Great trip to explore beauty of nature and facts of history. The whole tour went very smooth and 4 hours went by very fast. The tour was decided in 3 phases- walking tour, tour on a trolley and in house tour. All three guides were very knowledgeable.
