It’s a really good tour, with round trip transportation. Thr tour covers about 85% of what to see at the plantation. It does not include the nature boat tour and from slavery to freedom tours. I wish the current tour was an hour longer as when the plantation gets busy you start to fill rushed along. Overall I’d go again.

We had a great time touring the Magnolia plantation. The scenery was BEAUTIFUL, the tour guides were charismatic and funny. I’ve never been much of a history buff, but this tour made me want to go back and learn about the civil war all over again. This tour was one of my favorite things about my entire trip to Charleston. Weather was HOT and humid but we only walked for about 40 min (a lot in the shade) then rode a little open train with a nice breeze around the gardens, then were inside for the house tour so it was bearable even in 100 degree heat. They have a little cafe on site where we bought lunch and lots of water. It was a great time!! Transportation was easy. Highly recommend

Even though it was over three hours in total, I still could have used another hour to walk around the garden/woods. Also disappointed in the house. No cameras allowed in the house and it was actually the third house to be built there, not an original nor even a southern style plantation house.
