Except for Alan's dry, non-funny approach to leading tours, he had a lot of knowledge of the area and was willing to share it all. I love history and he had plenty. Sadly when we went directly to the city tour after this tour he repeated his whole schtick about himself and I thought he should have new material so the folks returning to the bus could get new stuff. Sadly I wrote a review about the Boone Plantation saying things I meant to write in here instead. Boone plantation had a Gullah presentation by a Gullah descendant who was raised Gullah. That wasTERRIFIC. Loved going into the slave quarters with recordings for each cabin.

Beautiful plantation with all kinds of interesting history past, present, and future. Shawn our driver was very updated on all parts of SC and plantation and Larry our house guide was very thorough.
