We had the pleasure of using this company for a tour of the Magnolia Plantation. They picked us up at our Inn on time and transported us 35 minutes to the Plantation. The tour guide was polite, knowledgeable, and showed a tremendous amount of patience for other guests who continued to be late. Along the way to the Plantation, our guide talked about the history of Charleston and we had the pleasure of having him give us a nature trail tour at the Plantation. We arrived back at our Inn on time as promised. The price of the tour was very reasonable considering how lengthy our trip was as well as how great the Plantation tour was. I know this company provides city tours of Charleston as well so I would highly recommend them for not only this Plantation tour but for a city tour as well.

An interesting and easy way to see a 17th century southern plantation. You are picked up at the visitor center and transported to the plantation. During the drive out to the plantation Allan our driver gives you a history lesson on the settling of Charlestowne and how the plantation(s) played on important part in the economic growth of the area. He also explained the significance of why so many of the plantations were on the Ashley River. At the plantation we did a short walking tour of the gardens and surrounding area where we also saw wildlife. We followed the walking tour with a tramp ride around and through the entire plantation seeing the last existing rice field, many gators, water fowl, ponds and slave quarters. A house tour followed which was very interesting. There is also a petting zoo located on the grounds, which has deer, goats, peacocks, chickens, roosters, a bobcat and many others. We highly recommends this tour.
