We took our daughter and her friends on the tour for their 14th birthday and it’s all they have talked about all day long. They run another zodiac tour we combo with and they lived that experience as well! The crew is amazing and professional!

This tour is new for 2022. If you want to get away from the downtown shops and see the beauty of the island, take this tour. The mountains, waterfalls, lake...all beautiful and left us speechless. We went on a sunny day. It hadn't rained for a few days, so the trails were dusty; be prepared to be covered in dust from head to toe...but so worth it. If you go on a rainy day, rain gear is provided. Tour guides Matt and Melinda were awesome with their knowledge of the area and they definitely earned a huge tip from us...their politeness, smiles and friendliness were worth every penny.

Ketchikan was our last port on our cruise and the 'Mahoney Lake Off-Road UTV Tour' was what my family was looking forward to the most. We were blessed with terrific weather and the whole experience was amazing from pickup to drop off. Our driver was a Ketchikan native so had plenty of stories to fill up the 45 minute ride from the the pier to the AdventureVue base camp. Once we arrived we were greeted with smiling faces and everyone was generally excited to take us on the tour. Rhianna & Jazz took us through our gear and safety instructions and we were off. We had 3 ATVs and they were simply awesome. The drive through the forest was even more fun and exciting that we'd hoped. Saw some wildlife. Stopped at beautiful overlook, then continued on to a spot where were parked and hiked down to Mahoney Lake. Breathtaking views all around and felt the full power of the wilderness. All along our guides were pointing out highlights, telling stories of history, and were just fun to be with. After returning back to the base camp, we were greeted with reindeer meat hotdogs fresh off the grill and chili. Was just an amazing experience and exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this excursion and Ketchikan AdventureVue over and over to anyone who will listen. Look no further for Ketchikan excursion for sure!
