We weren't able to have our tour as planned in Turtle Town due to ocean swells and poor visibility but were rescheduled for the same date/time as our original reservation in Lahaina instead where the currents and visibility were much better. We had an excellent guide who shared his passions for the Hawaiian landscape and sea life. Got to see lots of turtles and had an adequate amount of kayaking as well. This excursion was one of the highlights of our visit to Maui. Please note: your group might be limited on the extent of the activities based upon group members, ages and levels of experience.

My husband and I went on this snorkel/kayak trip while on our 10th anniversary trip to Maui! Our trip to Makena actually got cancelled and rescheduled in Lahaina instead, which was actually convienient for us because it was closer. The kayaking was so much fun! And we saw sea turtles within the first 5 minutes of our kayaking! It was amazing! I wouldn’t say the snorkeling in Lahaina was great (but we only went to one spot because the ocean was pretty choppy). We found snorkeling off of Kanaapli beach , Black rock beach and slaughterhouse beach to be better… but we only saw turtles on this trip! Our guide Ryan was wonderful and we really enjoyed the Hawaiian island history he shared while on our kayak trip! Hopefully next time we visit we will make it to Makena!

What an amazing first experience kayaking and snorkeling with the best guide around! We felt safe and comfortable from the get-go and our guide, John, was friendly with top notch jokes and knowledge about the area and sea creatures! We saw many turtles, held an octopus, and saw beautiful reef and colorful fish. This was actually our favorite experience during our week-long stay in Maui and would definitely recommend. And the photos turned out awesome!
