It was cool to kayak into the ocean and we saw some whales... there was no snorkeling due to weather. I didn’t care for our instructor or the way that he did things. But if you don’t have kids you may like him more.

John is the best! So kind, funny, and knowledgeable. This was the last big thing my husband and I did for our Maui vacation, and it was the cherry on top of an amazing getaway.

Cons: *not ad advertised- only 1 snorkel spot vs 2 as listed & group was 10 people + guide vs 8 as listed in description *exhausting- I consider myself in good shape and kayak often, but I was paddling hard through the choppy ocean water far from shore, I can't see how a child could do this *disappointing- didn't see any whales and only saw 1 turtle and a few fish at snorkel spot. Not the tours fault but I was expecting more turtles since they guarantee it. *cold & early- tour is only at 7am due to winds get stronger later in day *crowded- the snorkel spot we went to had many other tours there *price- expensive in my opinion for what you get Pro- John was nice and has been doing it a long time
