The weather was not cooperating with us for our trip. It had rained so much that the ocean was filled with debrie and it was impossible to snorkle and difficult to see turtles. Instead of giving up on us, cancelling and keeping our money, John took us all out for an amazing time where a baby hump back whale and it's mamma swam all around our kayaks. It was fun, absolutely stunning and a customized experience. I could not have been more thrilled with our experience.

We were disappointed for a few reasons and also had some fun too. First we spent very LITTLE time snorkeling maybe 25 min of the almost 3 hours out there. A few people on our group saw 1 turtle but by the time we got there it was gone. We spent the majority of our time chasing a whale we saw like a mile out to sea and paddled relentlessly out to the middle of the ocean. We had our 10 year old with us and it was really tough on her. They also didn’t have a kids mask so her snorkel experience was ruined because her mask kept filling up with water rapidly. My wife and I had to deal with that issue and didn’t have a good snorkeling experience either. The instructor was trying to find turtles so he didn’t help. Also The instructor spent the whole time screaming loudly literally from the moment we left shore until the time we got back. Some of it was relavent most was not he just loved to hear himself talk/yell. This was not the tranquil turtle kayak adventure good for kids as advertised. We finally got to see a whale tail come out of the water about 30 yards from us and that was really cool but again we were on a turtle adventure with a child. It took us forever to paddle back in from seeing the whale and had very little snorkeling time. There were also at least 200 other people in the water from other groups big and small so it was hard to find a spot not taken. Not a good trip for our little one was was in tears for a lot of the trip.

My husband and I really enjoyed this trip. We got to see whales close up which was awesome and the snorkeling was also fun. I would recommend it to anyone .
