Our guide John did an amazing job of teaching us about Hawaiian customs and language and was also a very knowledgeable of the marine life on the island He also did a fantastic job at putting our youngest snorkelers at ease. He was patient and very skilled. Everyone had a great time and our daughter left when a huge smile on her face when she spoke about all the fish she saw. We even saw several sea turtles right away! All in all it was an excellent choice and money well spent! Would definitely do this tour again.

We went on a snorkel and kayak tour with John Hess. He was an amazing guide, he knew just where the turtles were. We saw several of them. He was also very patient with me and my family with the kayaks since I am not the best kayaker. It was a great experience. We learned a lot about sea turtles, Hawaii and sea life in general. He was actually in the water with us so he would point things out to us so that we wouldn't miss it. I would highly recommend it.

My family and I just spent an amazing day on the water with John Shappell our guide. He truly made the experience perfect for us! We are a family of 8, including my in laws down to my young son and John was patient, informative, helpful and kind. We would recommend this tour to any family looking to see some sea turtles, kayak and spend some quality time together.
