We had an awesome time snorkeling and kayaking with John S. We went with a 5 and 7 year old and this was the perfect activity for them. This was the highlight of our week in Maui. We would do this again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I did this tour with John Shappell and we both really enjoyed it. It was just us and another couple on the tour, John was a fantastic guide. John gave us some tips on actually using the kayak and getting back into the boat after snorkelling before we started which was helpful. We were blessed with perfect conditions, the snorkelling was great. We saw reef, multiple turtles, a lot of different fish. I did a lot of fun things on my vacation in Maui: surfing, luau, road to Hana, the craters but I think that this was my favourite thing. I’ll be doing this or a similar tour if I’m back in Maui!

I took my 11 and 8 year old with me and John, our guide was fantastic with us. I was slightly nervous as I hadn’t snorkeled before and wasnt sure how I was going to multi task with the kids. But no worrying was necessary! We felt safe, and had sooo much fun! We learned a ton and best of all saw some amazing turtles!! I highly recommend!!
