We had a fantastic day out in the kayaks today. It was great for my two kids aged 6 and 12 although they have snorkeled before and are proficient in the ocean, they had never kayaked before. We all really enjoyed the kayaking, what a gorgeous way to experience the beauty of Maui and the surrounding islands from the sea. A big shout out to John for making sure we were safe and had a really positive experience overall, including teaching us good techniques for getting in/out of the kayak and managing the launch off the rocky beach and the waves for us so expertly. He was also a knowledge guide and someone who clearly loved his job! The snorkeling was good, we saw many turtles and were swimming quite close to them. There was also some interesting fish to look at as well. A really great experience and we’ll remember it always!

This was definitely one of the highlights of our Maui Vacation. Jon was the best tour guide we could have. Great information and direction with non stop enjoyable entertainment. Being as close as we could be to the Humpback Whale and her calf was unforgettable. Snorkeling the shoreline was great to see too, many tropical fish and turtles. The 3 hours we spent in the kayaks and snorkeling went by way to fast.

John was super nice, relaxed, thoughtful, joyful, informative, and knowledgeable! He also had great timing for seeing turtles, bottlenose dophins, and other wildlife, as well as weather and wave watching. We had a great time! We would totally go back and do it again. Plus, the photos and videos he took and shared with us were excellent.I totally recommend him!
